Hot Chocolate !!!

Thank God for hot chocolate!

I am pretty sure the only way I could make it through Canada's freezing cold winter is by keeping warm with a nice cup of hot chocolate when I have chills.I would actually take the time to go out in the middle of a blizzard to walk all the way to Tim Horton's.I believe time Horton's has the best tasting hot chocolate around.I am devoted to my medium hot chocolate pretty much every time I enter those doors,it's not to much and it's not to little.

Especially when you have the opportunity to top off your drink it just sweetens the deal.Personally I love adding marshmallows on the top of mine sometimes if I'm really craving sweets I will add a little bit of whipped cream on the top.

Snow

This mark's a special day the first day of actual snowfall in Durham region.

You know that when you see snow left on the ground that Christmas is right around the corner.

I find when it is supper cold outside and there is no snow it's like a rip off cause you may as well get something out of being frozen all the time.Snow means all sort of winter activities will start coming up more and more often.Can't wait for nice hikes out in gorgeous snowy fields and mountains,snowboarding now I actually want to snowboard not only cause it is such a cool sport but now I actually have a new jacket I love that would keep me nice and toasty through out the day.I also just purchased a snow tube because my previous one ripped last year,so I would have to say I'm ready for a winter wonderland now that we've gotten a taste of snowy winter I wouldn't mind 24/7 snow :D

Cards

Playing cards is just a great way to watch time fly by!

I often find myself playing cards with friends and even with the family.It always gathers everyone around the table for a night of laughter and smiles.playing cards allows you to interact with others and just have a Ball.

Some of my favourite card games to play with the family are the following:Canasta,black jack,crazy eights,go fish,re mi and oh so many more that i just cant think of at the moment.

Some of my favourite games i like to play with my friends are the following:spoons,crazy eights,spit,as*ho*e,b*ll sh*t etc...

Spares

Well not gonna lie,the first thing I do when I enter the school doors in the morning walking into the main hall I always look to the right to see our white board to see which teachers are absent for the day.Every time I see my teachers for which ever class will not be there I get quite happy and excited, to know that it means free time for whom other than, me !

Spares are just great because you have the chance to do what you please pretty much.
You can either take advantage of a spare to catch up on some long over due homework or to catch up on some missing hours of sleep.

Or you can just take advantage of a spare to relax and destress with your friends.It`s an opportunity to walk around grab a hot chocolate and just enjoy life.

Eww saw 5,I personally find that actually buying a ticket for this movie in theaters was a waist of my time and money.This saw, was like no other film before.Saw 1,2,3,4 were pretty great movies they had allot of content and suspense.This film lacked allot of content and was allot less interesting than the last ones,nothing happened to captivate my attention enough.

I think that it was simply all about gore and it seemed like there was no point to it.I find it was like watching flash backs of something i have already seen in the previous films.I already knew the scene's that happened and the outcome of the massacred so it was not the way to keep me interested.i was not very impressed when I noticed that all they did was explain how they arranged all the murders that had already been seen in the other movies from the past.

The moral of the storey is usually to teach people a lesson is a manor that they actually still have a chance to live and save themselves.This did was nothing other than just plain old torture with no mercy at all on the victims they weren't even given a chance to save themselves.This film made me not want to go and see the next saw that comes out in the future.

Travelling

I especially love to travel !

Traveling always brings a smile to my face and will never get old for me.I think traveling the world is a beautiful thing as well as a very educative thing to do.It allows you to see how people obeyed by such different life styles.

Like for example I'm sure you`ve heard of the term "as quick as a New York minute" ,most people know that the life style that people live every day is a very rushed and frantic/stressed manner of living.Sometimes people over look the beauty`s in the world and just don't take advantage of there time enough to stop and smell the flowers every once in a while.

If you were to compare New York to somewhere like in the Caribbean you would notice a very big difference.In the tropics the life style is allot more layed back and relaxed.people live every day and live it to the fullest.

I would love to have the opportunity to one day travel the world and see how life is outside of Canada.I am sure that it would bring great joy to my life,no doubt about it !

Death of a salesman

I am currently in the process of reading this novel and it is quite intriguing.
This book does indeed have allot of controversy,but yet I am know midway through the novel and beginning to understand the roles of every individual in the novel.

I find that there is allot of false hope being given to the main role player,Willy because he thinks everything is finally going to be all right. Now that his so called rough patch is over and that his two boys Happy and Biff are back in his life they are all happier and are trying to find solutions to there previous problems.

I think Arthur miller made it so that the readers would just have to keep guessing as to what will be happening in the future.I see it being very likely that things will take a turn to the worst again for them all.Because I find that Happy and biff are pushing there luck by thinking they can start a hole career based on them playing basketball and having a franchise of sporting goods will most likely not even take lift off because there ideas seem absurd.

I shall now return to reading this amazing novel and find out if my predictions are correct or not,on the big failure of Happy and Biff.

Costumes

Halloween costumes are the cutest things ever!

Well it is though to say but this year I did not participate in trick or treating.But on the other hand I did hand out candy to all the cutest little kids out there coming to my door step.
This year there were quite a bit of unique costumes.Like usual there were the typical young ninja turtles,cute princess costumes,batman and robin duo`s,firefighter,police men,spider man,superman,honey bee`s and so many more.

As a kid i remember a few of my costumes and they were pretty great one year I was Donatello the purple ninja turtle.One year I was dressed up as a pirate,one year I was a cowgirl and last year my last year having gone trick or treating I was part of a 80`s aerobics workout team.

Trick or treating is great cause there is nothing like free candy!

Candy

Candy is a great treat thinking that Halloween is right around the corner gets me very excited !
I don't find that candy is bad for you at all,as long as it puts a smile on your face you know your doing the right thing by eating it..

Candy is also a really great comfort food for those days you are feeling down.Candy is pretty much what Halloween revolves around these days.Getting all dressed up and going out to retrieve all those tricks or treats is quite the thrill.

Hurray for Halloween next weekend luckily this year it falls on a Friday which gets people even more excited to celebrate !

Stress

Vs

Everyday comes with it's own new burdens that you are faced with and have to overcome.I find that especially being in our last year of school it lays allot more stress because this is the year that matters the most.

This year there is the stress of actually figuring out your career path,then once you have that picked out the stress of keeping your grades high enough to actually get into the demanding program in College or University.

This is also the age that us teens go through epiphanies and contemplate over many things like relationships,there are the though break ups or sometimes the happy ever after.

This is also the time that the most of us have job's to help pay for school next year or just for some extra money in the pocket for when you need it.Working also comes with allot of responsibility and stress depending one the type of job you are juggling.

That is why I personally find it is quite important to devote some time to De-stress in life because sometimes you can get so caught up in everyday living that you forget to take time for yourself and to relax,which is one of the most important things to do.

Prom

Prom is known to be a night filled with laughter and joy.
Being a graduate this year is making me realize that this is an occasion I am looking forward to attending.

When you think PROM right away tones of ideas start running through my head,like what style of dress would I like to have?In which color would it suit me best?How should I do my hair to top off the finial look?

I know that our prom day/night will be a great night first off we will be celebrating the fact we have finally once and for all graduated high school.Looking into the future at all the new possibilities and opportunities to come is a scary but yet fun thing to imagine.To think we will soon be finished a big part of our life high school will soon only be a memory,we will be in a hole new world next year.

Winter...

I find that winter is a wonderful season!

I love walking out into a winter wonderland,tree's covered in snow no more green in sight,but simply a beautiful glimmer shining from the clear sky on to the snowy ground.

I am a very outdoors person I love the fresh air rather than sitting inside all day and playing video games.

I like occupying myself by doing all sorts of fun activities like snowboarding not saying I am good at the sport or anything but I do take allot of pleasure in attempting and pretty much just falling on my bum most of the time,I still like the challenge.

I also like getting all dressed up for the fun winter activities with nice colorful scarfs and mittens and warm cozy boots.I am just not a big fan of when it gets so cold that it does not make a difference if your properly dressed or not because there is no way of escaping the cold breezy wind.

I have a big feeling that this winter will be a cold one,i think it will come with allot of icy days and many snow days possibly and hopefully.

Colors

I am very thankful for having movies in color these days because it makes the film so much more captivating and interesting.I find that a black and white movie is nice and classic but not as fascinating as today`s colored films with all sorts of different graphics and special effects.

I personally love almost every color I am not one to dress in dark tones very often I adore bright and vibrate colors,obviously only to a certain extent so that it does not look tacky.Thanks to colors,the world is a happier place.

Another beautiful form of color is the most natural kind which always comes out after a rainy day ....... a rainbow!

A rainbow is so pretty because it has the perfect blend of all the right colors.

Plan for next year

After I graduate from my favourite high school of all times.... in 2009,I will be ecstatic.

I plan to continue my studies by going to the university of Ontario and pursuing the career of being a pediatric nurse.I will be applying for a bachelors in nursing and hopefully be accepted.From there on I will follow through with my four year general RN nursing program than take an extra year and specialise in the field of pediatrics.I find that working with children all day would be a very fulfilling career for me.

I hope that in the future I am still loving the career as much as I love the idea of it right now. Having a career in nursing will never turn into a dead end because nurses are really in need at this time so it is also to my advantage.

I know if I achieve my goal as a nurse in the long run I will not be disappointed.

ThanksGiving

I have allot to be thankful for this thanksgiving I am fortunate to have a roof over my head food on the table and a wonderful family to rejoice with.I am extremely happy that my grandparent are here with us on this special occasion because they are both actually 90 years old and still traveling all the way down from South America-Ecuador.I love them so much they are adorable and it is guaranteed that thanksgiving dinner will be a success thanks to them helping out in the kitchen so much.They may be old in age but they still have quite the cooking skill when it comes to being in the kitchen.And oh man am I excited to have dinner with all the family because this year we are celebrating at our house and I will be the one helping while it is cooking which means free samples,while no one is looking.

The Lottery

The messages that were perceived in the short story/film of the lottery were that every few months or so there had to be a town sacrifice so that at the time they would have good and healthy crop.This was no ordinary lottery as a matter of fact nobody wanted to win this particular lottery.

Every head of the family in the town would gather all together on the 27Th and have small talk between each other knowing they are there to piratically kill each other .How the draw went about was there was that there were a certain amount of blank ballots and those are the safe ballots to draw,there is one and only one ballot with a big dark black dot in the middle which meant you were the one to be stoned and killed that day as a sacrifice for the town .In the end the purpose was the less people living in the town the less people to feed which means more food to go around and keep those whom are still alive and well happy.

I find the idea of that type of lottery morally repulsing because it is taking a innocent person's life so brutally and randomly that you aren't even given the chance to process what is going on before it is over.I am truly glad that as Canadian citizen's now day's we have morale's and we have rights as a person's enough to be respected by one and other.
